He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ring and Elaine Ring (Hubbard); his sister-in-law Cheryl Ring (Hackney); and his niece Jamie Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Norma G. Hackney; and his siblings, James Ring (Sandy), Marcia Smith (Rick), Wayne Ring (Deb) and Rodney Ring (Carole). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Steve enjoyed golfing and bowling before developing Parkinson's Disease.
