He was predeceased by: his mother Marcella Swears; and his brother Marvin Swears. He is survived by: his significant other Beverly L. Palmer; his children, Debbie Chatfield, Denise Felt, Deanna Stevens (Dan Adsit), Dawn Burrington (Tony Burrington), Alyson Swears, Steven Swears and Stan Swears Jr. (Dawn); his siblings, Kathleen St. Amour and Burrell Swears; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Swears and Barbara Grennan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the family for a memorial fund in Stanley's name to Life Circles PACE of Muskegon.
