She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert LaPorte and Anna LaPorte (Hanson); her husband Russell T. Kohnke; and her siblings, Everett, Donald LaPorte and Vera Stevens.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Taylor (Jim); her grandchildren, Kyle Taylor (Alex Weglarz) and Stephanie Taylor (Bobby Gluc); her great grandchildren, Colton and Levi Gluc; and her siblings, Mary Bernia, Camille Anderson and Herbert "Bud" LaPorte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
