She is survived by: her son Carlton Merriweather; her siblings, Regina Young of Detroit, MI, Lisa Kitchen and Bruce Merriweather; her grandchildren, Carnisha Merriweather, Levi Merriweather and Desiraye Gauthier; her great grandchild Kalese Merriweather; her sister-in-law Shelly Kempker; her friends, Sandra Anthony and Lillian Lavern "Von" Mitchell; and her close friend Darwin Perish.
