It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Essex of Muskegon, Michigan, born in Shelby, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Essex and Faith Essex (Dawson); her children, David VanOver II, Shaune Hamilton and Melinda Good (Robert); her stepmother Mary Essex; and her siblings, Melvin Goss, Jenny Griffin (George), Amber Essex, Nora, Susan, Paulette, Ellen, Cindy and Rick. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, & 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
