He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Scheppman and Erdine Scheppman (Arnold); his sons, Clayton Scheppman (Pamela) and Darrell Scheppman (Kari); his grandchildren, Vincent, Susan, Jessica, Eloise and Samantha; and his sisters, Gwen Laubach and Paula Carey (Rick). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
