He was predeceased by: his father Edwin C. Pearce; his sons, David and Greg; and his siblings-in-law, Betsy Roccabruna (Gene "Rocky"), Martha Willis and Mike Hagar.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Patricia Mercer (Dan Vallier) of Norton Shores and Donald Pearce (Rose Reyes Marez); his grandchildren, Jeff Pearce, Jennifer Fay Sruba (Brett), Samantha Mercer, Dannielle James (Zach), Dylan Pearce, Ian Pearce, Donavan Pearce and Addison Pearce; his great grandchildren, Kyler Mercer, Kendall Eickhoff, Brooklyn Mercer, Ethan James, Isabella James, Grace James, Evelyn Sruba and Adrienne Sruba; and his brother-in-law Russell Hagar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
