He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Woodring and Dorothy Woodring; his siblings, David, Howard Woodring and Sharon Woodring; and the mother of his children Mary Woodring.

He is survived by: his children, Dan (Amy) and Chris Woodring (Mandy); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxson, Ronald Lee II and Anthony Woodring; his sister Lorraine Califf (Richard); his sister-in-law Sandy Woodring; and his close friend Sandy Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
