He was predeceased by: his parents, John Norton and Della Norton (VanOort); and his wife Joane Matthews. He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis Rowe; his sons, Robert "Bobby" Norton and Donald "Don" Norton (Sara); and his siblings, Joanne Morehouse (Bruce), Bonnie Decker, Patricia Cobb and Rex Norton (Charleen). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
