He is survived by: his former wife Laura Kahler; his children, Paul Kahler (Jill) of Muskegon and Sarah Kahler of Atlanta, GA; his granddaughter Leila Kahler; his sister Susan Lacoss (Dale) of Plainwell, MI; and his pet Romeo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
