He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Cassel (Wilson) and Clare Cassel; and his sister Cheryl Bruesch. He is survived by: his daughter Daisha Cassel; his son-in-law Matthew Smith of Albuquerque; his siblings, Michael of Muskegon, Gary (Teresa) of Mason and Julie Droste (Marv) of Lyons; and his nieces and nephews, Tim Cassel, Autumn Droste, Elizabeth Cassel, Adam Cassel, Luke Cassel, Ryan Cassel, Ivan Droste and Danielle Bruesch (Holly).
