He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles LaFayette and Ruth LaFayette (Ludlam); his spouse Tressa Mae Rop; his sons, Thomas LaFayette (Peggy) and Douglas LaFayette (Pamela); his grandchildren, Erica LaFayette (Jeremy Tjapkes), Stacy Devowe (Scott), Nathan LaFayette and Christopher LaFayette; his great grandchildren, Jacob Parsons, Jayce Tjapkes, Shelby Lynn Devowe and Evalyn Betty Devowe; his sister Ruth Durham (Richard); his sister-in-law Eileen LaFayette; and his brothers, Raymond and Charles LaFayette.
