It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Earl Swords (Muskegon, Michigan), who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Swords and Lyla Swords (Simonson); his wife Delores Brace; his grandson Richard Kamp; his brother Donald Swords; and his siblings-in-law, Elsa Bromley (Donald), Donna Bomers (Gerald), Barbara Essenberg (Kenneth), Paul Vandenberg and Cecil Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Kamp (Kenneth) and Linda Marie Swords; his grandson Daniel Kamp; his granddaughter-in-law Cindy Lenting; his great grandchildren, Lauren Lenting, Carter Lenting, Kaylin Kamp and Kenzi Kamp; his siblings, Barbara Rasmussen, Kathryn George (Chuck) and David Sword (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Janice Swords, Lois Byer (Chuck) and Jack Brace (Marcia); and his friend Leigh Strong. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
