He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Gable and Russ Gable; and his brother Roger Gable. He is survived by: his wife Cassandra Mazade (Sandy); his children, Dawn Yonker (Pete), Sherry DeVowe (Dan) and Greg Gable (Kim); his grandchildren, Bethany Yonker, Kaitlyn Yonker, Bryson DeVowe, Cason DeVowe, Hudson DeVowe, Max Gable, Miles Gable, Armon DeVowe, Jayden DeVowe and Mya DeVowe; and his siblings, Sandy Stone (Tony), Mark Gable (Laurie) and Kathy Letherby (Bob).

In lieu of flowers please send donations to Helen DeVos Children's Hospitals NICU which hold a special place in the family's heart. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to DeVos Children's Hospital - NICU, which holds a special place in the family's heart.
