He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hoesen and Dorothy Van Hoesen (Thurston); and his sisters-in-law, Neva Rayl and Monica Silverston. He is survived by: his wife Laura Sue; his daughter Laura Effken (Eric); his grandchildren, Jacob (Thomas Van Hoesen), Abigail, Sophia and Elliot (Chase Effken); his daughter Marian Plymale (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Walter, George and Esther Plymale; his sister Shirley Colby (David); and his brothers-in-law, Alan Silverston and Martin Rayl. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
