He is survived by: his wife Lupe; his children, Rita Oliver (David), Juanita Briggs, Pete Cortez, III and Albert Cortez (Gena); his grandchildren, Devon Mapes (Matt), Chelsea Oliver, Miranda Rudkin (Joshua), Jenna Briggs, Pete Cortez, IV (Lauren), Rianne Huntoon (Alex) and Max Cortez; his great grandchildren, Francesca, Pete Cortez, Deacon, Everett Huntoon, Charlotte Oliver and Makenna Rudkin; and his siblings, Geronimo Gonzalez, Jr. (Jean), Isabel Villa (Alvino), Olivia Mancilla (Juan), Connie Lopez (Chon) and Elida Miranda (Roberto). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
