It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Sue Woodring (Muskegon, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Carpenter and Harrieta Carpenter (Moore); and her daughter Wendy Butler. She is survived by: her husband David Woodring; her sons, Charles Modd, Randy Modd (Debbie) and Thomas Modd (Nancy); her stepchildren, David Woodring Jr. and Jamie Woodring; her sisters, Claudia Gordon (Tom) and Sherry Will; and her grandchildren, Connor Modd, Brogen Modd, Hannah Woodring and Brock Gilbert.
