He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Johnson and Lena Johnson (Wolfe); his former wife Sharon; his daughter Tammy Lidke; his granddaughter Tiffany Rawdon; his daughter-in-law Sherry Johnson; his siblings, Art Johnson, Larry Johnson, Carl Johnson, Elaine Hasse and Ruth Morse; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Morse and Lloyd Sarrison.

He is survived by: his son David; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Johnson, Maribeth Shields (Kurt) and Joni Rawdon (Dan); his wife Rosemary Johnson; his siblings, Vern Johnson (Judy), Darlene Sarrison and Norma Scott (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Johnson, Karen Johnson and Harold Hasse.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
