He is survived by: his father Paul Schultz; his son Brendin Ely; his mother Cindy-Schultz Gunn; his sister Heather Deroo; and his aunts, Mary Nicholson, Marie Root (Rick), Jean Matheny (Roy) and Lynda Schultz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
