He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Jeanette Adair (Poisson); his wife Mary Easley; his daughter Donna Adair; his brother-in-law William Easley; and his son-in-law Donald Hesling Jr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Hesling (Bob Lake) and Katherine Habetler (Steve); his grandchildren, Jon Habetler (Jessica), Charles DeWald (Janelle), Don Hesling III (Jodi), Amanda Parker (Leon) and James DeWald (Jim Dean); his great grandchildren, Jon Habetler, Savannah Habetler, Darcy Parker, Roland Hesling and Reid Hesling; his niece Nancy Frain; and his nephews, Ron Easley (Robin) and Jon Easley (Barb).
