He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey E. Briggs and Mildred Briggs (LeBaron); and his siblings, Shirley, Ellen, Richard, Karl and John.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Sr., Jill Lacy and Colleen Briggs; his grandchildren, Chris Jr. (Melissa), Nathan (Sandy), Adrienne (Carl III) and Paul; his stepgrandchildren, Meredith (Brodie), Adam (Megan) and Jacqueline (Elijah); his great grandchildren, Nathan Jr., Nikolai, Hali, Walter, Felix, Malcolm and William; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Keegan, Apollo, Lumen, Millicent, Jeffery and Lucas; his sister Carol Marty; and his brother-in-law Howard James Carney. He is also survived by children, and grandchildren.
