She was predeceased by: her parents, Tsunekichi Kawashima and Teru Kawashima. She is survived by: her daughter Telko Cunningham (Sam); her grandchildren, Gregory Adams (Kelma) and Aziza Cunningham; her great grandchildren, Ali and Amir Adams; her daughter Valerie Hernandez; her grandchildren, Raphael, Cedrick and Derron Hernandez; and her sister Fumiko Kawashima.
