He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Straley and Phyllis Straley (Kaber); his wife Karen Molewyk; his stepmother Christina Straley; and his brother Fred Straley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Straley and Brenda Straley (John Thatcher); and his grandchildren, Sebastian, Porter Whitesell, Aidan, Annika Thatcher, Patricia Straley (Tom Froster), William Straley (Kim), Sharon Sikkenga (Paul), David Straley (Darlene) and Edward Straley (Debra).
