She is survived by: her son Nathaniel Smith (Bridget); her grandson Josiah Smith of Portage, Michigan; her close friend Patrick Powell of Grand Haven, MI; her mother Lizzie Martin (Elaine Harris-Ellis) of Muskegon, MI; her brothers, Sanders Harris, Jr. and Maurice Monte Martin of Muskegon, MI; her aunts, Clara P. Morris, Ester Moody of Muskegon, MI and Carol J. Hairston of Columbus, MS; and her uncle Robert L. Hairston of Columbus, MS.. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
