She was predeceased by: her parents, Veilia Vargas (Garza) and Richard Simmons Jr.; and her husband Richard "Jim" Simmons Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Tami Simmons, Malissa "Missi" Clark and Richard Simmons III (Andrea); her grandchildren, Angela Clark, Zackery Simmons (Lindsey Anderson), Cameron Clark Emily Huth (Tyler Francis), Kyler Simmons, Claire Simmons, Isabel Simmons, Nina Simmons and Seth Simmons; her great grandchild Avaya Francis; her siblings, Olga Stembol (Kurt), Ofilia Meyers, Carlos Vargas (Sandy) and David Vargas; and her brothers-in-law, Steve Simmons (Jeanne), Ed Simmons (Lisa) and Greg Simmons (Sandy).
