She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pienela and Mildred Pienela (Carslake); her stepmother Jeannette Pienela; and her stepsister Sandra Wierda. She is survived by: her spouse Keith B. Martin; her daughter Katherine Atkin (Sidney) of Brighton, MI; her grandchildren, Tyler and Bailey Atkin; her brother John "Butch" Pienela (Gwen) of Naples, FL; her stepsister Barbara Root (Jim) of Colorado; her cousins, Al Sheldon (Mary) and Cheryl Graves (Steven); and her nieces and nephews, Amber, Ashley, Tim, Scott, Matt, Heidi, Cecillia, Tom, Chris, Jon, Kim, Julie, Clark and Bobbie.
