She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barnes and Leola Barnes (Barry); her husband Robert Vander West; and her siblings, William Barnes and Marcella Wildt.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Vander West, Leigh Ann Archer (Ronald Sr.) and David Vander West; her grandchildren, Ronald Archer, Christopher Vander West, Rebecca Morse (Scott), David Vander West Jr. and Kaitlin Giordimaina (Joe); her great grandchildren, Noah, Olivia, Charlotte, Amelia Morse and Logan Vander West; her brothers, E. Michael Barnes and John Barnes (Linda); and her pet Precious. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; along with her many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Johnson Cancer Center or Trinity Lutheran Church.
