She was predeceased by: her parents, Niley Puffer and Mabel Puffer (Seguin); her parents-in-law, Clarence and Mabel Peterman; her son Scott Peterman; her siblings, Lyle John Puffer and Carol Lynn Puffer; her siblings-in-law, Roberta Puffer (Bobbie), Barbara Burmeister (Hubert) and Robert Johnson (Millie); her foster parents, James Williams and Nellie Williams; and her foster siblings, Anthony Williams and Maxine Williams.
She is survived by: her husband James Peterman, Sr.; her sons, James Peterman, Jr. (Cathy) and Brian Peterman (Susan); her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Greaves (Ryan), James Peterman, III and Danielle Ritsema (Jacob); her stepgrandchildren, Jessica Smith (Alex), Chris Brimmer (Sara) and Matthew Brimmer; her brother Donald Puffer; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Puffer and Judy Luytjes (Larry). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
