He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred A. Goodin and Vertie A. Goodin (Ross); his daughter Vertie Reid; his grandsons, Eric Miller and Ricky Enders; his siblings, John Goodin and Rosetta Taylor; and his son-in-law Brian Noble.
He is survived by: his wife Lenora Goodin; his children, LuAnn McElfish, Rosetta Kim Cargill, Marion Noble and Marine "Butch" Goodin, Jr.; his son-in-law John Reid; and his foster daughter Lenora Hoard (Burt). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
