She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammy Lee Belmont and Helen "Kizzie" Belmont (Stegall); her husband Scott Spencer Wright Sr.; her children, Melvin L. Wright of Muskegon Heights, MI, Victor K. Wright of Muskegon Heights, MI and Susie A. Mack of Fayetteville, NC; and her close friends, Edna Sargent, Rayola Williams, Ruth Etta Jackson, Rosie Glover and Katie Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Wright Jr. of Muskegon, MI and Shirley Williams of Detroit, MI; and her close friends, Laura Kitchen and Helen Alcorn. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
