Simmons; her children, Booker Simmons (Debra), Velma Simmons, Stan Simmons (Natalie), Dwight Simmons (Sharon) and Gregory Simmons; her sisters, Easter Jones, Fannie Steward (Bennie) and Shirley Jones; and her niece Linda Upchurch. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.
