She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Brandt and Lillian Brandt (Gauthier); her husband L. Duane Ford; her brother Gerald Brandt, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Raymond Houseman.

She is survived by: her sister Jacqueline A. Houseman of Muskegon; her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Ford (Alice) of Grand Rapids, Mary Anderson (Jerry) of Bitely, Frances Nelson (Dan) of Bitely, Luree Huth (Lloyd) of Bitely and Jeffrey Ford (Karen) of Bitely; and her pet Lacey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Ann's Catholic Church in Baldwin, MI.

“Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. We met Linda in 1976 upon a transfer to E. H. Sheldon Company where she worked for many years. We found we had a love of horses and country life in common. I remember most her beautiful smile, funny sense of humor and her chastising me for my crooked parking. I think she'd chuckle at that last item. Our condolences go out to all the family and especially to Jackie.”
