She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene F. Christie and Lilah Christie (DeJonge); her husband Paul M. Matthews; and her siblings, Joe Christie, Fred Christie and Virginia Minnerick.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Matthews (Pamela), Pamella Ramirez (Juan), Valerie Westrick (Steve), Christopher Matthews (Jean), Rebecca Carr (Steve) and Jason Matthews (Lisa); her siblings, Robert Christie, Vivian Christie, Connie Christie and Mercedes Christie; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Christie and Fabiola Christie. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
