With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leila Brokstad (Muskegon, Michigan), who passed away on December 29, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Bockstanz and Winnie Bockstanz (Wright); her husband Charles H. Brokstad; her son Herbert Benjamin Brokstad; her granddaughter Alicia Boes; and her brothers, Louis, Irving, Glenn and Ernest Bockstanz.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Brokstad, Jeanne Jones (John), Sandy Martin (John), Chuck Brokstad and Cyndi Boes (Tim); and her grandchildren, Terri Waugh (Steve), Christopher Jones (Staci), Bryn Martin (Allison), Kylie Waller (Will), Kaitlyn Jain (AJ), Stephanie Franks (Gary), Erik Brokstad (Laura), Valarie Smith (David), Kristina Somerville (Mark) and Caleb Boes. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
