He is survived by: his father Larry VanHaitsma (Sally); his close friend Denise Kanaar; his siblings, Tim VanHaitsma (Tammy), Joe VanHaitsma (Jody) and Lindsay Young (Roger); his children, Lance VanHaitsma (Veronica), Taryn Krieger (Zack) and Trent VanHaitsma (Brigitte); his grandchildren, Gunner and Zeplynn VanHaitsma; and his friend Damir Vidinlic (Aaron Allard). He is also survived by step brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews.
