He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Harkema and Betty Harkema (Ruiter); his sister Fay Bollenbach; and his brother-in-law John Elmore. He is survived by: his son Eric Harkema (Brittni Papke); his grandchild Khloe Harkema; his girlfriend Roxann Elliott; his girlfriend's children, Keri Wade (Dylan), Tracy Elliott and Nathan Elliott; his sisters, Joyce Elmore, Sandra Williams Jr. (Robert) and Bonnie Ulmer (John); his brother-in-law Gary Bollenbach; his friends, Adam Kotecki and Tom Olsen; and also Wayne Harkema (Vickie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
