She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schaefer and Doris Schaefer (Hiller); and her sister Edna McCastle. She is survived by: her husband John W. Schaefer; her children, John Schaefer (Theresa), Jennifer Myers (Louis) and Jeremy Schaefer; her grandchildren, Zachary Schaefer, Simon Myers, Mason Myers and Aubry Myers; and her siblings, William "Bill" Schaefer (Peggy) and Sheila Baldwin (William).
