She was predeceased by: her mother Dolores Hansen (Amante); and her stepdaughter Jillian Swanson. She is survived by: her husband David Swanson of Muskegon; her father Jens "Jim" Hansen; and her siblings-in-law, Tom and Linda Swanson. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers you may make a memorial contribution in Judy's name to the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.
