She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Miekens and Elnora Miekens (Jones); her son Timothy Morris; and her siblings, George Jones and Vernell Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Bonita LaNore (David), Angela Morris, Ivan Morris and Tyre Johnson (Kim); the father of her children Ivory Morris (Bertha); her siblings, Terry Henry, Gracie Churchwell (Louis), Nora Vine, Thelma Blackshire, Turner Allen, Yvette Mickens and Matthew Mickens (Donna); and her sister-in-law Gwen Allen. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
