He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Olson; his son John Mitchell (Stacy); his grandchildren, Emma, Evan, Jamison, Ben and Allison (Lucas); and his sisters, Margie Szykowski (Joey) and Maureen Tiedt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
