He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Boersema and Catherine Boersema (Petersen); his former wife Carol Ann Boersema (Ackerberg); his children, Polly Erickson (Walt), John Boersema (Annmarie) and Dan Boersema (Kris); his former wife Marlene Mansfield (Mike); and his brother Raymond Boersema. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
