She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Styskal and John Styskal; her husband Milton Ripka; her sons, Vincent Ripka and Joseph; and her son-in-law David Kooi.
She is survived by: her children, Marleah Kooi, Loretta Brydon (Bob) and Francis Ripka (Mihaela); her grandchildren, Megan, Rob, Michael, David and Joseph; her great grandchildren, Marisa, Weston and Morgan; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Ripka.
