She was predeceased by: her parents, William Powe and Lillian Powe (Bouhall); her son-in-law Scott Sutton; and her nephew Jeffrey Powe. She is survived by: her husband Larrie F. Varnes; her children, Jennifer Sutton of Charleston, Gretchen Kucks (Brian) of Spring Lake and Kevin Varnes (Kenya) of Kentwood; her grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Nicholas, Lauren and Michael; and her siblings, James Powe (Beth), Tom Powe and Mary Ann Carroll. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
