He is survived by: his wife Lurlean Martin; his children, Patrice Jackson (Angelo) of Muskegon, Michigan, James Martin (Stacey) of Atlanta, Georgia, Alina Fortenberry (Alex) of Muskegon, Michigan, Tanesha Martin of Canton, Michigan and Nikia Martin of Muskegon, Michigan; his grandchildren, Darius Martin, Casey Jackson, Landon Fortenberry (Yixi), Alexandria Fortenberry, Jayla Martin and Tyler Conner; his siblings, Kenneth Martin (Mary), Barbara Rutledge and Ophelia Martin; and his sister-in-law Joyce Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
