He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Way and Bessie Way (Lake); and his brothers, Homer, Merle, Billy, Herbert, Bob and Max Way.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Jacklyn Scraver (Tom) of Muskegon, Jillene Moran (Steve) of Whitehall, John Way (Sandy) of Grand Rapids and Jim Way (Shelly) of Muskegon; and his sister Patsy Sherman (Jerry). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
