As we bid Isaiah farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Isaiah is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon Elijah and Emma Elijah (Wright); and his wife Mattie May. He is survived by: his close friend Alymnette Horton; and his stepdaughters, Rhonda Livers (Marcel), Vera Horton and Lela Herron (Roy). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greater Harvest Baptist Church (2435 Riordan St, Muskegon Heights, MI 49444). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
