It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Samuel Hoeker (Muskegon, Michigan), who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoeker and Ruth Hoeker (Langeland); his wife Elinor; and his sister Janis Picard. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Hoeker of South Carolina, Jane Bell (John Pierre Rudell) of Muskegon and Susan Newton (Tyler) of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Aaron Hoeker (Amanda), Ethan Hoeker (Katie), Megan Reelman (John), Colin Billingsley (Julie Emmick), Jillian Burgam (Calder), Emily Bell (Josh Wilson) and Lauren Kulzycki (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Mason, Erynn, Kendon, Jordan, Haiden, Karsen, Jack, Emma, Cienna, Miah, Hollen, Mea, Brennan and Trevor; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Zylman and Dorothy Anderson.
