He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Graupner and Louise Graupner (Hattendorf); his former wife Nancy Lee Dobbs; and his sisters, Dorothy Shefloe and Ruth Hahn.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Louise Bohlmann-Blase; his daughters, Elizabeth A. Green of Whitehall, MI and Anne Marie Tietsort (Mark) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his stepchildren, Cindy Ferrante (Fritz) of Portland, Linda Brantley (Dan) of Edwardsville, IL, James Blase (Lynn) and Gary Blase (Maria) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Kira Clock (Kelli) of Tom, IV, Jack Clock (Jessie), Amanda Boyer (Gary), Matthew Tietsort, Kimberly McMullan (Matt), Olivia Blase, Mariah Blase (Ram Miro), Alex Blase (Brandi) and Margarite Blase; and his great grandchildren, Raegyn Tietsort, Hazel, Quentin Clock, Charlie and Conor McMullan.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held.
