She is survived by: her husband Richard Anderson; her children, DeVere Cunningham Jr. (Janice) of Portage, MI and Cynthia Palmer; her grandchildren, Frances Young, Robert Cunningham and Alyssa LaFree; her great grandchildren, Caleb Cunningham, Miles Cunningham, Will Cunningham and Violet LaFree; her brother John Gerhardstein; and her close friend Richard Morton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
