He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gemmel and Lucy Marie Lynn Gemmel; his wife Joyce Gemmel (Hartle); and his brother Scott Gemmel. He is survived by: his sisters, Kitty Wright and Tootsie Peffers (Louis); his close friend Phyllis Hosington; and his children, Steve Gemmel (Kathy), Bryan Gemmel (Donna) and Wendy Fookes (Timothy).
